No matter how big any items you have that require moving to your new home are, we can help. Our experienced team have moved everything from huge bookcases to grand pianos. If any item, no matter how big, is capable of being moved from your current home to your new one, we will do so.

Unless there is a genuine reason why you cannot be there on the day, it is always best that the client is present, or at least someone within the family who are moving. Not that we need you there to help with any of the lifting and carrying, we hasten to add. Instead, with you being present you can confirm which items are to be moved, advise what rooms items are to be placed in at your new home,  plus answer any questions from our team which may arise on the day.

In the vast majority of cases, we will be able to complete your house move in a single day. This obviously would not apply to interstate moves. As for how many hours during the day your move will take, this will depend upon factors such as the distance between the two locations, and the time it takes to load and unload your belongings which will be influenced by the number of rooms in both your current and your new property.

If you consider that the packing boxes are what protects your items during transit then you must use the most robust packing materials you can. You could buy or supply your own, and if you need any advice on what to use, then please get in touch.

Alternatively, you can purchase all your packing materials directly from us at Brilliance Removalists, Melbourne and we will send them to you well in advance of your move to give you plenty of time to pack. All the packing boxes and packing materials we supply are of the highest quality. Apart from boxes of variable sizes examples of the other packing materials we offer include bubble wrap, butchers paper and packing tape.

You can, but often clients are surprised how physically exhausting wrapping and packing all their items are, and many wish they had asked us to do it for them. This is especially the case when it comes to delicate or expensive items which can range from antique ornaments to $10,000 PCs.

You can choose the degree to which you use this service as the fee we charge is per item. We will bring the appropriate wrapping and packing materials and have those ready to be safely loaded onto our trucks for transportation, so you do not have to.

Absolutely. Whilst we take the utmost care and every precaution possible to avoid any items being damaged, we go further than that. For your complete peace of mind, all items we are responsible for during your house move are fully insured against damage or loss.

Whether it is just a few valuable items or all your furniture, whether you need to store them for a week or several months, we are happy to look after your belongings for you. Our storage service can collect your items, help you with packing, store them securely, and then deliver them back to you when you ask us to.
